About Me

Hi!

My name is Danielle and I am the girl behind Work It, Wear It, Eat It! I started this blog a few years ago, using it as a place to document my fitness journey. Since then, I have realized that it is much more than that. Blogging is my outlet, and the way I put my thoughts into the world. I write about whatever I like, which in one way or another usually tends to incorporate running or some form of exercise!

The main things you will learn about me are that a) I like to run and lift weights, b) I like to eat all the food, c) I like pretty clothes and make-up and d) I don’t take any of it too seriously.

I started running in February 2010 after the loss of both my grandparents (on my Mum’s side) to heart disease. Running became (and continues to be) my way to fight back. My running has progressed over the years to a place that I never really thought possible (I almost tossed my cookies after my first ever run/walk interval session). While I am not the best runner, I continue to become better, faster and stronger all the time. Running allows me to continue pushing myself while appreciating my body for what it can do, rather than just for what it looks like. Lifting weights has played a crucial role in the improvement of my running performance, which has made it an integral part of my exercise program that I really find enjoyment in.

I live in Ontario, Canada with my boyfriend husband, Josh, and our two Boston Terriers, Lemon and Winslow!
