Winter Training Schedule!

Hi guys!

Just wanted to share my training schedule for Around the Bay 30k and the potential marathon May 5th. I based the plan off of a Hal Higdon marathon training schedule and altered it slightly to suit my needs and preferences. My strength workouts will be by Joseph Donnelly, I signed up for his website where he posts daily workouts. I could do this myself, but I find it such a time saver in the morning to already have my workout planned out for me. I don’t have to think about it, I just go and get it done.

While I like to have a set training plan like this, I don’t freak out if I can’t follow it exactly. If I have to shuffle things around when I am busy or out of town, that is no problem. If I have to skip a couple shorter runs, I can do that too. The main purpose of this schedule is to provide me with daily goals to keep me on track.

Things get down to business tomorrow! In theory. I think I am coming down with something, as my throat has been in flames for 48 hours, but we’ll see!

Do you make schedules for your workouts or training plans?

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Danielle
