Quick Workout Routine & HBD Lemon!

I was out and about today doing a few things and when I got home I was feeling tired and lazy after a sleepless weekend. I decided I wasn’t going to workout. Then of course the guilt started to set in. I hopped off the couch, into my gym clothes and did this quick routine!

I set my Gymboss for 1 minute exercise, 20 seconds rest, 9 rounds per circuit. I used a set of 10lb dumbbells for a few of the exercises.

  • 1 minute squats (with dumbbells)
  • 20 seconds rest
  • 1 minute narrow squats (with dumbbells)
  • 20 seconds rest
  • 1 minute plié squats (with dumbbells)
  • 20 seconds rest
  • 1 minute dumbbell-row push-ups (in plank position propped with dumbbells in hands, do a push-up and then row on one side, repeat)
  • 20 seconds rest
  • 1 minute pushups (no weight)
  • 20 seconds rest
  • 1 minute tricep dips (weight on your lap if you want)
  • 20 seconds rest
  • 1 minute shoulder presses (with dumbbells or the bent-over body weight kind)
  • 20 seconds rest
  • 1 minute squat jumps (no weight)
  • 20 seconds rest
  • 1 minute narrow squat jumps (no weight)
  • 20 seconds rest

Repeat circuit 2-3 times for a seriously sweaty workout! I’m aiming for 18 workouts between now and Christmas. Who’s with me? ANNNND, go.

 

In other news, it’s also Lemon’s 4th birthday! I told her that’s fine and she can stop aging now, since I’m going to need her to stick around for my whole life.

I’m gonna take you guys to a new level of crazy dog Mom. Once I commissioned a painting. Of my dog. True story.

  2. I’m with you on the 18 workouts! Going to do the workout you posted on my lunch break since I’m feeling sloth-like today and need to get a workout in to keep my energy levels up. I love crazy dog moms, mostly because I am one. Great painting!
